Description:  A Missouri Pacific bridge used to cross the flood channel. It connected Hidalgo with the McAllen Trade Zone seen in the background. Hidalgo section and bridge was abandoned and removed in the late 80s.

Description:  This was the literal end of the line in Hidalgo after the Mo-Pac Hidalgo-Progresso-Rangerville-San Benito line was abandoned in the 1960s. The Trade Zone-Hidalgo section finally came up in the late 1980s. This mill was a rail-served industry.

Description:  RVSC; looking east The jog in the track is where a spur made a sharp turn to angle towards the backside of industries. When RVSC took over in 1993, there was no siding here so loads were dragged all the way into McAllen. Later RVSC restored the switch to make it a siding, but left the jog in the siding.
