Album Info:
McHugh Bros. used a Baldwin as their main freight power in 1977, and for years after, over the New Hope & Ivyland. Contrast 44 years later in 2021, NH&I freight power is provided by former Canadian Pacific SD40-2 5577. Interesting NH&I passenger acquisitions in 1977 were 1931-built Harlan & Hollingsworth MU's. Conrail had operated the MU's for almost a year prior to their NH&I purchase over Septa's former Reading Philadelphia Division with their home base at Wayne Junction.
