Viewing Album:  They came for the steam, Conrail gave them ground shaking thunder!

Album Info:All manner of steam fans came and gathered around the lengths of Horseshoe Curve on the afternoon of May 22, 1977 to see former Reading T-1 4-8-4 #2101's arrival. They came for steam, but may have left Conrail fans as they saw F-units, GP30 and 35's, SD40, 45 and 45P's, and a few U-boats strain and groan their loads up and down Horseshoe Curve. This day was a show of Conrail's ground shaking very best.
