Partial Caption: "In pre-dawn rain, Engineman W.E. Crofutt leaves Enola with BF-3." Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9524, an EF-15 built by GM-EMD in July of 1948, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in May of 1966 after just 18 years of revenue service.

Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4711, a P-5A (2-C-2) electric built by Baldwin-Westinghouse during October of 1932, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in July of 1965 after 33 years of faithful service.
