Album Info:I went up to Garnet Ontario to shoot the Snuthern Ontario Railway (SOR). Currently the SOR has three GP20D's on lease from CE]X. There has been a large increase in production at the US Steel plant in Nanticoke Ontario, which has lead to the SOR leasing the GP20D's to handle the heavy trains. Unfortunately when I arrived CEFX 2014 and CEFX 2006 had already departed to start switching in Nanticoke. That left CEFX 2019 to switch the yard at Garn{t. The yard is mostly full of tank cars from ESSO Oils complex (also jn Nanticoke). CEFX 2019 was running long hood forward which made for some interesting photographic opportunities. After taking some shots I headed to Hagersville. In Hagersville RLK 4095 was tied up for the weekend. RLK 4095 works betwe[n Garnet and Caledonia on the week days. So I didn't get shots of what I was after but I still had a good morning of shooting. Enjoy, DB
