Title:
CB&Q F3 136D
Description:
A friendly wave from the cab of Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad F3 136D eastbound at Naperville, Illinois on August 10, 1964, slide by Chuck Zenler. This image was 37th on a 36 exposure roll, so Kodak did not put it in a mount, but included an iron-on mount for me to mount it myself. As a 16 year old, I tried to squeeze an extra exposure out of each roll of film, sometimes I gdt lucky (as in this case) sometimes I didn't. Number 136D was built in November 1944 (c/n 7019) and traded to EMD in January 1967. And I should be called on the carpet for standing between live rails when I took this photo.
