Description:
HASLET TX March 15 1981 -- Santa FeGP39-2 3696 leads a westbound (compass south) train in the hole and without a crew. EMD built the 3696 (s/n 796314-1) In April 1980 and delivered it in blue with yellow warbonnet. At some time it was painted in SPSF colors but was returned to yellow warbonnet after the proposed merger failed. It was transferred to BNSF on Sept 22 1995 and on March 15 1998 was patched and renumbered BNSF 2950.
