BWCX. Here is an article by Marsha Mooney entitled "'Nancy' Makes Final Run ~ on Rt. 36." It was published originally in the "Altoona Mirror"; the exact date is unknown. The story recounts how "the last steam locomotive to be regularly operated in the Blair County rail complex" has been moved to the Railroaders Memorial Museum in Altoona, Pennsylvania. In my younger and more vulnerable years... |
Description: |
I saw Jeddo Coal 85 on static display behind a roadside diner in Horseheads, NY back in 2001. My wife snapped this photo of me next to the forlorn little teapot. I never imagined it would ever turn a wheel again. Small miracles can still happen in Steam Locomotive preservation. The Gramlings have my great admiration! |
