Jim wrote the following on the back of the print: Reade Manufacturing Compnay, Inc. weed sprayer # 1016. Looks like an ex-NYC baggage car. According to an employee, they have about four cars like this one -- and about 12 boxcar weed cars. Although it looks like a motor car, it has no traction engine and is pushed or pulled by a regular railroad engine. CB&Q yards, Lincoln, Nebr. 6-25-63 |
