NCVA yard
NCVA has a neat little engine facility at its headquarters in Ahoskie NC. Two slugs are coupled to a GP40 here, a GP38-2 sits by the sand tower to the left and a GP9 can just be seen in the distance. The road's headquarters is located behind the CN-painted geep.

David Stewart General Nice catch! The 4176 is a former SCL/CSX GE mate. Its funny looking with the GP9 style dynamics grafted on it. Have you got a shot of the middel unit (slug). I do beleave it's a graduate of a rebuild center in Jacksonville Fl. It looks like a kit bash! A freind of mine had a shot of some kind of a rebuilt EMD unit from Jax with a pointed front on the cab, But it desk top controls like on a wide body. 1/22/2008 4:28:57 AM
Fred Stuckmann General Strange, but nice. 12/7/2009 7:18:55 PM
