| This BNSF-to-CSX military train on CSX trackage is less than a mile from being delivered to CSX's Gentilly Yard where the BNSF shuttle crew that took it across the Mississippi River will detrain. The train traversed BNSF's ex-SP Lafayette Subdivision to get to New Orleans and passed through the eastern end of the subdivision just before the line was shut down for a few hours due to a train colliding with a truck in Parads, Louisiana. This train originated in Beaumont, Texas, the day before. |
