Tom Beckett General The two lead units(at least, can't see the others well enough) are actually C30-7A's. It was a CR only model that developed 3000 HP from a 12 cylinder prime mover, instead of the usual 16 cylinders. Conrail acquired 50 of them, numbers 6550-6599, in the early 80's. They were based in Selkirk, and most commonly seen on the B&A, though often ran on the River Line as well, and could turn up systemwide. If I had to guess a date, I'd say 1995 or so. Conrail established a couple of run through trains onto the B&M in the mid 90's, this is one of them. 5/17/2012 4:21:05 PM
Jonelle DeFelice General THANKS for the info! The photo is from a man I worked with. He let me borrow some photos to scan. 5/17/2012 6:19:00 PM
