One of the infamous "Crandall Cabs," C&NW 501 was originally UP E9B 910B, was later Metra 501, scrapped at Naporano in 1985. Date of photo approximate.

Alan Fricker General This is a Crandall cab unit. It started off as a Union Pacific E8B unit, then the CNW bought it and added a cab to it-Crandall was the Motive Power Superintendent at the time. 5/19/2009 3:33:59 PM
