The conductor was trying to re-start engine #53 as it stalled 10 miles back. The engineer said it was reading no fuel pressure. They stopped at the next siding and did a diagnostic over the radio w/mechanical div. and got the engine going again. The engineer said the train would not have made it up the West Park grade about 30 miles to the north if they didn't get it re-started. |
