| The AVR's latest acquisition, a rebuilt EMD SD40-2, idling in Everson, Pa waiting for a coal train to be brought up the Bullskin Branch by sister railroad SWP. This was built as CNW 970 SD45 in February 1969. Later became KCS 614 SD40-3. Rebuilt-repainted in 2011 by NREX in Dixmoor, Illinois. |
