| Overhead look at the only SWP GP11 that isn't red. Built as IC 9314 GP9 in December 1957. Later became IC 8749 after undergoing a rebuild to a GP11 at the Paducah Shops. Eventually it moved on, becoming SLR 8749 and NREX 8749. Late last year it finally was officially renumbered 2006 for the SWP. It can be hard to photograph this one in full sunlight due to the bright yellow but I think I pulled it off this time. |
