Classic building  Contributor's Pick!
A sad testimony to the decline of upstate NY is the number of once busy industrial buildings that have fallen on hard times, or simply just fallen down. The ones that are in good shape make great photo props, though. The U&MV trip passes the Waterville Knitting Mills, a business that long ago went south-literally-with the work most likely now done in China or Mexico.

Dave Curtis General I just read that this building was tore down in 2009. I just can't figure out what direction the train is going; is it headed toward Binghamton? Or south rather? 10/31/2016 6:32:10 AM
