| The EL Comet cars would become the standard for NJ Transit. As newer orders came on line, the cars began to roam systemwide, so it was not a total surprise to find one of the cab cars leading on the ex CNJ. They were a vast improvement over the 1920s era cars and long distance hand me downs that dominated the line in the 70s and early 80s. |
