The worn ous tender of former CN Ten Wheeler 1533 rests at the end of trackage in the New Hope yard. A closer look at the sides reveals two different paint schemes, the fancy lettering and stripes from the 1960s Steam Trains Inc. ownership of the New Hope & Ivyland, and the more industrial looking white letters from the 1970s McHugh Bros. era of the railroad. Although the yard ends here, the tracks continue further north into the woods where they once served a rock quarry. |
