| PC 598865 was at a chemical plant near Gallipolis Ferry, WV on 8-07-2014. This view shows the A-end, no brakewheel. Take a look at the ladders--they've seen better days! This car still has the yellow dot on black square for a wheel inspection dating back to the late 70's. The ACI label is still in place, just above the consolidated info stencil. The top chords don't connect, and we can see that for this car the top chord or rail was made of square tubing. |
