| In an ironic twist of fate, PYRP, once the WR 7, seen at the top of the photo, would have crossed this plate girder bridge over NY 7 on its way north. The D&H last used this bridge several years prior during the detours while Belden Tunnel was rebuilt, and it has sat unused since then. It would not be removed for another couple of years, when NY State rebuilt the NY 7 bridge over Wylie Creek, which PYRP is crossing on the well known Harpursville Bridge. |
