| Former SP Depot; it was built at an angle as opposed to parallel to the tracks because the original Central Pacific alignment made a lazy "S" curve through town. The current alignment was built in the early 1900s when Harriman double tracked most of the Overland Route. The Nevada County Narrow Guage Ry had tracks in the foreground. |
