Coal Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by Eugene Van Dusen that was taken in Logansport, Indiana, in August of 1952. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6477, a J-1A (2-10-4) "Texas" built in Juniata during March of 1943 and retired in September of 1957. Note the roundhouse in the distance. This photo comes from a slide set that's produced and distributed by FJC Products of Newport, Delaware. |
