| Production of the CF7 started with ATSF #2649, released on 3/13/70. The last one was #2417, completed 3/15/78. Retired 9/84 & sold to Rail Services Inc. the next month. Leased to New York Susquehanna & Western until sold to Maryland & Pennsylvania 7/88 & renumbered 1500. As of this date the engine still wears its Emons/MPA anniversary paint (Emons controlled the Maryland & Pennsylvania until the YRC sale in 12/99). To Genesee & Wyoming 2/02. |
