Electrics. Here is a photo that was taken near Chase, Maryland, in 1967. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4429 and another "Brick" whose road number is not recorded. Both are E-44 (C-C) electrics built by General Electric and rated at 4,400 horsepower each. #4429 was constructed in February of 1962. The photographer's name and the exact date are not recorded.
