| The car has a long history starting with its construction as a dining car for the Atlantic Coast Line in 1912. It wears the Amtrak colors - slightly confusing as there is no record of it being directly on the Amtrak roster. The mergers caused it to eventually land on the CSX roster but was sold to Texas Tank Car Works and then up for sale by D F Barhardt & Associates. An unknown photographer caught this car sitting in the Acca yard in Richmond Yard. |
