Portraits 10. Here is a steam locomotive portrait of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6131, the prototype Q-2 (4-4-6-4) "Duplex" built in Juniata during August of 1944 and retired in January of 1952 after just eight years of revenue service. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. Many thanks to Mr. Robert Hess for identifying this locomotive correctly. (#58 of 72) |
