| Built by Rogers Locomotive and Machine Works in Patterson, NJ, in February of 1907, it was originally ordered by Chicago Soouthern but the railway fell on hard times so the loco was sold to Northern Pacific instead , the loco served in the Minnesota Division of the Northern Pacific Railway until it was retired and donated to the city of Stillwater, MT for display.Original specs - 57" drivers, 190 PSi boiler pressure, 19x26" cylinders, engine weight of 153,000 lb and tractive effort of 26,600 lb. |
