| SD40-2, BN 6796 became BNSF 6796 and retained Cascade Green til the end around 2009. BN 6398 a passenger version of the SDP40 variety began life as GN 324, becoming BN 9854 in passenger service. Renumbered by BN to 6398 at first then rebuilt as an SD40u as BNSF 6326. Last sighted in the Galveston deadline in 2021 and unlikely to work again and never wore an orange coat either! |
