MILW 2-8-2 #327         
Nice action shot of Milwauklee Road 2-8-2 #327 at the Marquette Yard coaling station being filled with coal by the fireman. Built by Alco-Brooks in September of 1918 as a USRA heavyweight Mikado CM&StP #8618, it was later renumbered in 1938 to MILW #327. The loco was retired in Octover of 1953 after nearly 35 years of dedicated service, . Specs - L3 class, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 27x32" cylinders, engine wt of 320,000 lb and tractive effort of 62,949 lb. This is aC. Cook photo.
