This early 4-4-2 Atlantic type steam locomotive was built by the PRR's own Juniata Shops in May of 1903 (Juniata serial #1854, class E3d). The loco rebuilt in November of 1912 to E-3sd class. After nearly 36 years of service, the loco was retired and scrapped in February of 1939 after nearly 36 years of service. This is an Elroy Giffin photo. |
