WB. Here is an image of an official photo that was taken in front of the Logan House in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in 1866. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #347, a 2-6-0 "Mogul" built by Norris as a 4-4-0 "American" in 1865, rebuilt in the Altoona Machine Shops (AMS) as a 2-6-0 "Mogul" in December of 1866, rebuilt in AMS as a 4-4-0 "American" in 1870, and sold to E.H. Wilson in February of 1884 after just 19 years of service. Note the "booster" under the cab. William E. Burket Collection. |
