Altoona Action. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1960. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5595 and #5597. Both are BS-7M switchers built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as BS-7's in May of 1950, rated at 750 horsepower each, and later rebuilt as BS-7M's. In fireground is an ash pit left over from the steam era; in the right distance is Juniata's 17th Street Bridge.
