MDiv. Here is the third of three successive duplicate 35mm color slides of photos by Nelson Bowers that were taken in Mifflin, Pennsylvania, in January of 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6818, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during September of 1926 and retired in January of 1957 after 31 years of service. At the right is the Mifflin Passenger Station; partially visible at the left is the eastbound passenger shelter. ("Stoneborobranch"; #13 of 56)
