Description:
Picture taken from under the 3rd Street Bridge looking west over "A Yard" which was the northbound classification yard of Johnston Yard. A Yard had 30 tracks increasing from left to right in this picture. The power lines in the middle of the yard seperated A16 and A17. This yard survived in this coneiguration until 2008 when the yard was rebuilt as Harrison Yard. This area is still reffered to as A Yard. The building on the left is the A Yard office. Date is approx.
