Built by the Canadian Locomotive Company in December of 1942, Canadian Pacific 4-6-2 "Pacific" type steam locomotive worked freight as well as passenger service. After nearly 15 years of service, it ended when the loco was scrapped in June of 1957. Original specs - G3a class, 200 psi boiler pressure, 25x30" cylinders, 75" drivers, engine weight of 299,000 lb and tractive effort of 42,500 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo. |
