Built by the Canadian Locomotive Compnay in January of 1943, it serviced for nearly 18 years before the scrapper's torch finished its career in April of 1961. Original specs - G3a class, 200 psi boiler pressure, 25x30" cylinders, 75" drivers, engine weight of 299,000 lb and tractive effort of 42,500 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo. |
