PRR 2262, EF-25, 1964 |
| Description: |
Everyday. Here is the first of two successive original photos that I took in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 30 August 1964. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #2258 and #2262. Both are EF-25's built by GM-EMD in May of 1964 and rated at 2,500 horsepower each. They've just passed through the Jones Street crossing on their way back to East Altoona after pulling a 75-car mixed-cargo freight train into the Hollidaysburg Yards. Partially visible at the left is a Maintenance-of-Way building. |
